Uganda Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Initiative

The Uganda Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Initiative (UEEI) is a network of multiple stakeholders working towards a deeply connected, vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Uganda. UEEI has been incubated and is powered by the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). Small Foundation provided core co-funding to UEEI.

Our partnership and learning

Support from Small Foundation and Argidius Foundation enabled ANDE to find and recruit a network coordinator in Uganda and convene motivated stakeholders in the Kampala SME ecosystem. UEEI also created and released a podcast ‘GroundUp’ to shine a light on the experiences of ecosystem enablers as well as entrepreneurs.
