Emerging Leaders

Emerging Leaders empowers people in vulnerable communities with the motivation, mindsets and skills needed to flourish and lead themselves out of poverty. Small Foundation was particularly interested in Emerging Leaders as a leadership development organisation targeting smallholder farmers and rural workers within global supply chains to achieve sustainable scale and impact. Our engagement focused around supporting Emerging Leaders to develop a strategy to scale impact.

“Emerging Leaders’ partnership with Small Foundation provided for a transitional shift in our intentionality around scaling our impact, as well as providing a platform and focus around not just the what, but the why. Our partnership provided a safe environment to explore, enabling us to identify a core value, that of ‘depth of transformation, over numbers trained’.

Working with the Small Foundation team, we were able to identify areas of work which could best multiply our reach and impact. We are now more focused on the conversations we are engaging with and the partnerships and collaborations.”
