Creative Metier

Creative Metier and Small Foundation have held a multi-annual partnership to understand the contributions that diverse, locally led impact networks make to rural entrepreneurial ecosystems in East and West Africa, and the ways in which transitioning to a networks approach can advance their impact.

In addition to bringing these impact networks together to share learnings, Creative Metier has provided direct, bespoke support to several of Small Foundation’s impact network partners to provide coaching and support overall network health and growth.

Our partnership and learning:

“We have seen impact and collaboration build, both with each impact network in their own context and collaboratively as the networks came together to support peer learning and further acceleration of impact. Small Foundation’s enduring partnership and support has enabled us to evolve a locally nuanced approach with impact networks that are seeking to effect positive systemic change.”

– Glynis Rankin, Creative Metier

Our partnership has enabled us to learn from and with Creative Metier and many dynamic and mission-aligned network partners working in East and West Africa. Our support for Creative Metier has enabled insights and lessons to be captured and disseminated, including from the perspectives of the networks themselves. We have seen how non-financial support is just as valuable as financial support with the adoption of a network approach.
